Author's Note: I began writing this story nearly two years ago. I wanted to finish a good majority of it before I started posting. Also, this story is meant to play out as a typical season one or two Profiler episode, which means that aside from the teaser at the beginning, the killer is not seen until the end of the story nears. In addition, the story is told from the Third Person-Task Force’s point of view, and therefore the Halliwells do not have scenes by themselves.

History: I wrote my first poem entitled "Learning Cursive" when I was 8 years old. It was only four lines. The first fan fiction that I ever wrote was at the tender age of 13. It had around 8000 words—or 21 pages—and was from the Charmed fandom. It disappeared from existence about a year after it was first published.... Yeah, it will never see the light of day. Ever. Really. I'm quite ashamed of it. Following my first fic ("Personal Protector") was "One Last Chance," another Charmed fic which was discontinued because I no longer had the will to finish it. I wrote a (at the time; later combined into a long one shot) multi-chaptered Nip/Tuck fic and actually completed it, in which I first began to develop a darker yet wittier writing style. I actually completed that fic. After that, I really found my writing niche in the Profiler fandom, for which I've written multiple drabble-like one shots and two multi-chaptered fan fictions. One of the fics, "Getting Personal," was discontinued after parts of it were stolen (obviously crushing my muse) and "Paralyzed Ambition" (a crossover with Charmed) is currently still in progress. Presently, I am continuing both "Paralyzed Ambition" and writing 100 fan fictions based on the Legendary Three Ninja (伝説の三忍) for the Naruto fandom as part of fanfic100, because I am insane.

Learning cursive hurts real bad.
